Makigami?

Makigami means "roll-paper" in Japanese.  If you look closely at the picture you will notice there is printing on the branches.  This is because we use newspaper to make branches.  We soak newspaper in a solution and then roll them to make stems.  We then dry the stems and assemble them into branches.  After they are assembled they are painted and leaves and flowers are added.

A new more durable Makigami formula has lead to the ability to make wearable accessories from paper.  This new formula will be revealed in Benjamin John Coleman's "Origami Bonsai Accessories."

It is conceivable that this new formula will revolutionize the consumer products industry as well.  Imagine a toothbrush handle, made from paper, that can be recycled in your paper recycling bin at the end of its usable life!
